This is my go-to-book whenever I need to do some inner work. Every time I read it something inside me is released. I understand how much chatter I’m listening to day in and day out from myself. It’s a great reminder to let things go.

#Things to consider

  • Don’t trap your energy inside you.
  • Let it pass through and let it go.
  • You don’t need to dwell on things that happened and on the past.
  • The moment your heart gets defensive, you stop and let go.
  • You don’t have to go with your thoughts, that’s what being centered is.
  • Commit to not letting the energy pull you in.
  • Stop defining the disturbed mind as a negative experience; just see if you can relax behind it.
  • When your mind is disturbed, don’t ask, “What do I do about this?” Instead ask, “Who am I that notices this?”

#Reading log

2022-03-10: This book taught me to not close my heart and trap my energy inside. Always let go and don’t cling to your thoughts and emotions, no need to dwell on things for too long. As soon as you start feel defensive, you stop and you let go. You don’t have to go with your thoughts, you just watch and you don‘t get entangled with them.
