#Things to consider
- Remember that life is a constant beginning.
- Your attitude is the most important thing you can nurture. Attitude determines choice, and choice determines results.
- Springtime is a season of activity and opportunity. It’s a time to take action and plant seeds.
- Seize moments as you find them and mold them into your own better future.
- Do not use today to mentally re-live yesterday.
- Life is truly a constant beginning, a constant opportunity, a constant springtime.
- Summer is a time to protect, it’s a time for guarding against busy bugs and noxious weeds.
- In summer you let your creations grow.
- The human character is formed not the in absence of difficulty but in our response to difficulty.
- We must change our habits, our attitudes, our opinions, and often our occupations, residence, and even friends, if circumstances are ever to change.
- Invest your time in worthy projects.
- Do not spend time regretting the past, but invest that time wisely by preparing a better future.
- Fall is a time when you reap the rewards of your toil.
- It’s a time for gathering the evidence of your past efforts.
- Winter is a time of recovery, and a time for rediscovering an often misplaced sense of purpose. It can be a time for reading, a time for planning, a time for gathering our strength for the coming spring, and a time for taking comfortable shelter.
- Winter is a time for rest and enjoying the fruits of your labor.
- Much of life is in learning to always remain part of the solution rather than allowing yourself to become part of the problem.
- Let not the winter go by without investing much of your time in assuring, teaching, and encouraging others.
#Reading log
2017-11-26: Jim Rohn‘s book is short and sweet. It talks about how springtime is the season for sowing. Don’t linger and don’t think about past failures or memorabilia. Act with the knowledge that what you put in now, you’ll get back in the autumn. That’s the type of words I need to hear. It springs me into action. It gives me hope for the future. I know that I can become so much more, today I can add a little step towards that. It will all add up. It’s the same principle as the compound effect. The same action taken again and again over time, will bring back an immense return.
