#Things to consider

  • It’s important to practice. Feel comfortable with yourself and what you want to say.
  • Think about framing your talk so it brings something of value to the audience. Don’t fall into the trap of circling your talk around yourself. Really focus in on what you can bring to the audience and what points you want to make for them.
  • Work with your emphasizing. It completely changes the message and brings more dynamic depending on where you put emphasis.
  • People don’t really care as much as you think.
  • The problem when you’re doing a presentation is that you think you’re the middle of the world. But you really are not. Most people won’t pay attention to what you are saying, and even those who are won’t be fully attentive.
  • So don’t be so nervous. It’s not the end of the world. Take charge of the room and be confident.
